Bigger Sister Channel is dedicated to empowering sex workers to share their stories, experiences, and skills. We envision a world where sex workers are treated fairly, equally, and free of stigma and discrimination. 

Our community is founded on principles of respect, inclusivity, and empowerment. These community guidelines are intended to ensure a positive and supportive environment for all members, whether you’re engaging with us online or in person. By participating in our community, you agree to uphold these guidelines.

2. Principles 

2.1 Guiding Principles:

Bigger Sister Channel’s Community Guidelines are founded on our guiding Principles:

2.1.1 Financial Sustainability

We invest in our community by recognizing, celebrating, and compensating those who contribute to Bigger Sister Channel. Our administrative team is committed to building a business structure that ensures the longevity and sustainability of our ongoing community efforts.

2.1.2 Harm-Minimization 

We strive to ensure that our content is accurate, appropriately dated, contextualised, of high quality, and accessible to minimise any potential harm. We commit to evaluating and mitigating any risks that could harm our community or the longevity of Bigger Sister Channel.

2.1.3 Collaboration

We believe in community connection and coordination within and outside the industry. We collaborate with leaders, experts, products, services, and stakeholders to increase the overall impact in achieving our vision.

2.1.4 Good Faith

We engage in discussions and make recommendations in good faith, with honesty and integrity. We do not engage in topics with a mean spirit and strive to create tangible content with practical outcomes.

2.1.5 Responsibility

Everyone involved in Bigger Sister Channel takes responsibility for their actions or words. This includes the administrative team, content creators, and community members. We encourage leading by example and fostering a culture of accountability.


3. Online Interactions

The Bigger Sister Channel’s Community Guidelines Policy is designed to uphold our mission of providing a supportive and educational platform for sex workers. Our goal is to foster a safe, healthy, and sustainable work environment for all individuals in the sex work industry. Our online presence through our social media accounts and website serve as spaces to amplify the voices and experiences of sex workers while prioritising their privacy and well-being.

    3.1 General Policy

    3.1.1 Respectful Conduct
    1. Treat others with kindness, empathy, and respect. Harassment, hate speech, bullying, or discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated.
    3.1.2 Content Guidelines
    1. Share content that is respectful, constructive, and relevant to the Bigger Sister Channel community. 
    2. Respect the intellectual property rights of others and refrain from sharing copyrighted material without permission.
    3.1.3 Inclusivity
    1. Embrace diversity and inclusivity in all interactions. 
    2. Avoid language or behaviour that excludes or marginalises individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or any other characteristic.
    3.1.4 Safety: 
    1. Prioritise the safety and well-being of yourself and others. Do not engage in or promote behaviour that poses a risk to physical or emotional safety.

    3.1.5. Compliance
    1. Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and Bigger Sister Channel policies. This includes respecting privacy rights and refraining from engaging in illegal activities.
    3.1.6. Reporting Violations
    1. If you encounter content or behaviour that violates these guidelines, please report it to the Bigger Sister Channel moderation team immediately. We take all reports seriously and will take appropriate action.

    4. In-Person Events

    4.1 Event Conduct

    Respect the rules and instructions provided by Bigger Sister Channel team members during in-person events, including Skillshare Workshops, Admin Days, parties and social events. This includes but is not limited too:

    a) Engaging in positive and respectful interactions with fellow attendees, presenters, performers, speakers, venue staff and Bigger Sister Channel team members.

    b) Creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for all participants.

    c) Avoiding behaviour or language that may make others feel unwelcome or uncomfortable.

    d) Following all safety protocols and procedures outlined by Bigger Sister Channel staff during in-person events.

    e) Prioritising the safety and well-being of yourself and others.

    Please note guests who do not abide by the rules and instructions provided by this policy, or otherwise advised by Bigger Sister Channel team members, or are in any other way disruptive or offensive may be asked to leave any in-person event.
